I practice a relational approach to therapy, and therefore place great value on creating a safe and trusting relationship in which you are free to express yourself.
I find great value in uncovering your inner narrative and how the words and thoughts you have about yourself impact your feelings and experiences.
I also value exploring your past and discovering the messages (overt or covert) that you received, whether from family, important figures, or society as a whole, that impact the way we think about ourselves and how we show up in the world. I work with you to discover what your goals are for therapy, but overall I strive to help you feel empowered.
